Honolulu, HI- Anticipation abounds the Chaminade Women’s Volleyball team as they gear up for 2008.  A strong nucleus of returners combined with some exciting newcomers doesn’t help stop the excitement for the upcoming 2008 campaign.

April 24, 2008 The Men's golf team concluded their season this past weekend in the Pacific West Conference tournament, they placed 7th in the tournament and are looking to improve on this next season. The tournament took place on the Palmer course at the Turtle Bay Resort. Chaminade improved each day as a team, day 1 they had 376 total combined points, day 2 they 365 total combined points and day three they had 352 total combined points. Honolulu, HI- The Chaminade Athletic Department is pleased to announce the addition of Head Men's Soccer Coach, Jason Kelley. Kelley comes to Chaminade from the Hawaii Olympic Development program, where he was coaching and overseeing player selection. The owner of Hawaii's largest soccer store, Xtreme Soccer Hawaii, Kelley is a 1993 graduate of the University of Sydney, Australia. After graduation, Kelley was involved in the professional ranks from 1993-1998, making stops in both Australia and England. Throughout his career, Coach Kelley has assisted and led various programs, including leading the Richmond Kickers Youth Soccer Club from 2000-2004 as executive director and head coach. While with Kickers, Kelley oversaw 50 soccer teams in the Richmond Club. Following the Kickers, the Chaminade coach partnered with the Mililani Soccer Club as Assistant Director of Coaching. "We are excited to have Coach Kelley on board," says Chaminade Athletic Director Kaia Hedlund. "His experiences will help him greatly as we at Chaminade look towards the continued growth of our men's soccer program."

Feb. 5, 2008 Player of the Week (Jan. 28-Feb. 3) - Chaminade senior forward Marko Kolaric (Novi Sad, Serbia) has been chosen the PacWest Player of the Week. The honor is for games contested from Jan. 28 through Feb. 3. Kolaric averaged a double-double last week as Chaminade split a pair of games with conference-rival Hawai`i Pacific. The 7'0 senior led the PacWest in rebounding by averaging 14.5 boards per game. Kolaric also averaged 13.0 points per game by shooting 75.0% (12 for 16) from the field. The Swords are currently ranked third in the NCAA West Region and receiving votes in the NABC National poll with a 15-5 record, 10-1 in the Pac West. Chaminade is back in action Wednesday night against second place BYU-Hawaii in McCabe Gym. Game time is set for 7:30 PM. The game will be televised by OC 16. 11.3.07 | Men's Cross Country, Women's Cross Country, Cross Country
Nov. 3, 2007 Eagle, ID- Chaminade Men's and Women's Cross Country concluded their seasons today at the 2007 West Regional Championships in Eagle Island State Park Idaho. The Chaminade women were led by Deanne Soon, who finished the 6k event in 23:55, good for 115th place. Joelle Tanaka finished 141st place with a time of 25:50. Individually, Jessica Pixler of Seattle Pacific took the individual title with a 19:53. SPU also took the team title with a team score of 45 points. On the men's side, the Swords were led by Toby Castro, who ran a 35:23 10k, which placed him 106th in the field. Tyler Pickle was the next best Chaminade finisher, just behind Castro in 111th place with a time of 35:47. Individually, John Riak of St. Martins won the 10k event with a time of 30:32. Chico State won the team title with a team total of 39 points.
