PHOENIX, AZ – Chaminade senior outside hitter Courtney Lorusso (Los Angeles, CA/Glendora) was named to this week's Pac West Weekly Honor Roll. Lorusso ranked sixth in scoring for the week after averaging 3.81 points per game. She totaled 30.5 points on 30 kills and a block assist and ranked third in the PacWest for the week in kills per game (3.75).
Hawai'i Hilo senior middle hitter Josimara Pinheiro (Jundiai, Brazil/Guimaraes Junior) has been named the Pacific West Conference Volleyball Player of the Week. The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Oct. 26, for matches contested from Oct. 19-25.
Pinheiro led the Vulcans to a 2-0 mark in conference play by leading the PacWest in scoring average and kills per game during the week, and ranking third in the league in hitting. She averaged 5.42 points per game after totaling 32.5 points on 28 kills, three aces, a block solo and a block assist. She also averaged 4.67 kills per game and hit .352 with just nine errors in 54 attempts.
Pinheiro average 0.50 service aces per contest to tie for second in the league during the week.

Fabiane Seben - Hawai'i Hilo (Sr., 6-1, MH, Caxias do Sul, Brazil/Guimaraes Junior)...topped the PacWest in hitting for the week with a .457 average...posted 20 kills in 35 attempts with just four errors...ranked seventh in kills per game (3.33) and third in scoring average (4.17)...totaled 25 points on her 20 kills, two aces and six block assists...ranked fourth in the league for the week in blocks per game (1.00).
Katie Swenson - Hawai'i Hilo (Jr., 5-9, S, Bellevue, WA/Omaha Gross Catholic)...registered 75 assists in six games for the Vulcans during a 2-0 week...led the PacWest in assists per game during the week (12.50)...tied for second in service ace average for the week (0.50).
