PHOENIX, AZ - Chaminade senior Courtney Lorusso (Los Angeles, CA/Glendora) was honored this week on the Pac West Weekly Honor Roll. Lorusso ranked second in scoring for the week after averaging 4.30 points per game. The outside hitter totaled 21.5 points in a3-2 victory over BYU-Hawaii. Lorusso had 20 kills and three block assists and tied for second in kills per game for the week (4.00).
Academy of Art junior outside hitter Dan Yang (Beijing, China/Beijing 5th Sports School) has been named the Pacific West Conference Volleyball Player of the Week. The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Nov. 9, for matches contested from Nov. 2-8.
Yang totaled 39.5 points while averaging 6.58 points per game to lead the PacWest in both categories for the week. She also topped the conference in kills (36) and kills per game (6.00), while her .304 hitting average ranked sixth. She totaled her 39.5 points on 36 kills, two aces and three block assists.

Breanna Morales - Notre Dame de Namur (Sr., 6-0, OH/OP, Lancaster, CA/Highland)...ranked sixth in the PacWest for the week in kills per game (3.40)...ranked fifth in scoring average (3.90)...totaled 19.5 points on 17 kills, two aces and a block assist.
