Nishimoto, Genera Named HPH Athletes of the Week

Chaminade University men's golfer Jeren Nishimoto (Honolulu/Kaiser) and softball player Taylor Genera (Norwalk, Calif./Whitney) are the Silversword Male and Female Athletes of the Week for contests between March 9 and 11.
 
Nishimoto shot a team-best 236 in the 54-hole Notre Dame de Namur Invitational. He improved his scores each day, culminated by a 5-over-par 77 in the final round.
 
Genera pitched two complete games during the softball team's series against Biola, allowing eight runs, half of which were earned. She also delivered the walk-off base hit in the Silverswords' 2-1 win in Game 2 of the four-game set.
