Laie, HI- The Chaminade University women's volleyball team hit the road tonight to face BYU-Hawaii for the third time this season. In their first two meetings the Seasiders swept the Swords 3-0 at McCabe Gymnasium. Tonight was more of the same as BYUH outgunned Chaminade 30-20, 30-13, 30-26 to remain undefeated in Pacific West Conference play. The win, combined with Hawaii Pacific's loss to UH-Hilo, give the Seasiders, now 15-2 on the season and 7-0 in the PacWest, sole possession of first place in the conference.
Valasi Sepulona led Chaminade, 8-9 overall and 3-3 in the PacWest, with 14 kills while Kahala Kabalis added 10 despite sitting out the second game with a knee injury.
Chaminade hosts Hawaii Pacific on Tuesday at 7:30 PM before heading to the mainland for a four game road swing versus Montana State-Billings and Western New Mexico.
