Shooting Woes Continue for Swords

Honolulu, HI - The struggle to score continued for Chaminade tonight in a 56-52 loss to Hawaii-Hilo at McCabe Gym. The loss brings the Swords overall record to 2-8 while the Vulcans improve to 9-2 on the season.

Chaminade shot just 20% (5 of 25) in the first half and 34.6% on the night while the Vulcans connected on 44% of their field goal attempts. The Swords were also forced into 19 turnovers in the loss.

Kashif Reyes led CU with 13 points while Sam Henning added 12 and Bryon Sykes pitched in 11.

The two teams face off again on Saturday night at 7:30 PM in McCabe Gym.
