Laie, HI - The Chaminade University women's volleyball team swept past BYU-Hawaii tonight, 32-30, 30-23, 30-26, in their final regular season game of the season. The win brings the Swords to 16-6 on the season while the Seasiders fall to 11-12.
Chaminade's Marijana Stanic slammed a game-high 16 kills. Silversword Valisi Sepulona followed close behind Stanic with 15 kills while teammate Kahala Kabalis powered 14 of her own. Nikolina Rastovac totaled a game-high 40 assists.
BYU Hawaii's Lesina Funaki tallied 34 kills.
For the second time in three years the Chaminade Silverswords earned a post season berth in the NCAA West Region Volleyball Tournament. Match-ups for this weekend's tournament will be determined shortly.
