Honolulu,HI - The Silverswords swept Montana State-Billings on the weekend, winning their second double-header (4-2, 1-0) in as many tries versus the Yellowjackets. Chaminade improves to 4-4 overall, 4-0 in the PacWest. The Yellowjackets finished their road trip 0-8, losing four games each to Chaminade and UH Hilo.
Loihi McKeague pitched a four-hitter and struck out five to win the first game. In the second game, Harmonie Martinez's single to left field scored Kelsi Kobashigawa in the first inning for the only run of the game.
The Swords take on BYU-Hawaii on Wednesday at Palolo field. Game times are 4:00 & 6:00 PM.
