Honolulu, HI - Despite a late run by the Swords, the Hawaii Pacific Sea Warriors were able to hold off CU for the 83-78 PacWest win at the Neal Blaisdell Center. Chaminade drops to 9-13 overall, 6-6 in PacWest play and HPU improves to 9-15, 6-7.
Roy Stigall III scored a team-high 17 points for the Swords. Jason Walters and Nick Frey each had 14 points. Frey recorded the games only double-double with 14 rebounds. HPU's Audrius Peciukas led all scorers with a career-best 24 points.
The two twams will face off again at the Neal Blaisdell Center on Wednesday, March 3 at 7:30 PM. It will be the third meeting for the two team this season, with the series tied at one game apiece.
