HPU Hands Swords Loss

Honolulu, HI - The top two teams in the Pacific West Conference faced off tonight and the AVCA #9 ranked Hawaii Pacific Sea Warriors came out on top, 3-1 (30-18, 23-30, 30-25, 30-25). The Swords are now 7-3 overall, 2-1 in conference play and HPU is 9-1, 3-0.

The Swords topped Hawaii Pacific in kills, digs and assists but the Sea Warriors out-hit Chaminade .246 to .119 on the night and logged 12 more blocks than the home team. CU was led by Valasi Sepulona with 18 kills and 10 digs. Kahala Kabalis and Patti Hardimon each recorded 12 kills and Nikolina Rastovac set her way to 47 assists on the night.

The Swords continue their home stand, taking on Western New Mexico on Wednesday September 29th at 7:30 PM.
