CU Basketeers Even the Score

Honolulu, HI - The Chaminade University men's basketball team won a rematch of Tuesday's game with Hawaii Pacific tonight, 81-65.  The Silverswords improve to 11-5, 5-1 in PacWest play while the Sea Warriors fall to 7-6, 1-2.

Chris Reaves led Chaminade with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Zack Whiting continued his steady play by recording 19 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Corey Campbell chipped in 16 points on 6-7 shooting. He also grabbed 6 rebounds.

Aleksander Bojic led the Sea Warriors with 20 points and 4 rebounds.

The Swords travel to Hawaii-Hilo next week for games on Thursday and Saturday night. The Vulcans are currently ranked 19th in the nation at 15-1 on the season. UHH's only loss came at the hands of the Silverswords on December 4th, 93-72.
