Hilo, HI - The men's basketball team dropped two PacWest Conference games to 24th ranked Hawaii-Hilo last weekend, 81-79 & 72-66. Chaminade falls to 11-7 overall, 5-3 in conference while Hilo improves to 18-2, 6-2.
Nick Frey led the Swords in the first game with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Zack Whiting added 11 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds.
Corey Campbell led CU on Saturday with 27 points and Chris Reaves chipped in 16. Chaminade shot 33% from the field, 25% from long range and just 55% from the charity tripe in the loss.
The Swords host Hawaii Pacific on Saturday January 29th at 2:00 PM.
