CUH Drops Western Oregon Shootout Opener

Monmouth, OR- The Silverswords lost a shootout to Central Washington 105-96 on Friday evening.

Dylan McCune shot 5-10 from the arc, and finished with 21 points and Zack Whiting had 28 points, 13 assists and 9 rebounds in the loss. The Swords were up by as many as 10 in the first half and led 46-43 at the break. The second half was tight throughout with the game not being decided until the final two minutes.

Chaminade falls to 1-4 on the year. CUH plays Western Oregon Saturday evening at 7pm at the New PE building.
