Belmont, CA- Chaminade took care of the Argos in three straight games 30-28, 30-28, 30-18 yesterday evening. Trina Kauliakamoa was again impressive, leading the Swords with 18 kills in this battle with a future conference opponent.
Lila Sapolu added 7 kills, a season high, while Nikolina Rastovac contributed 22 assists. Chaminade improved their hitting percentage from recent games, connecting for a .339 percentage against the Argos. Defensively, CUH was led by Britnee Fonnesbeck with 5 block assists and Ashley Elliazar with 12 digs.
Notre Dame de Namur was led by Laura Trudelle and Marissa Miller with 14 kills a piece. With the win, Chaminade improves to 7-3, while Notre Dame de Namur falls to 4-9. Chaminade returns home to face Notre Dame de Namur at McCabe Gym on Friday, September 16 at 7:30 PM.
