Lady Swords Soccer Tripped Up by NDNU 2-0

Belmont, CA- In the first game of a three game mainland swing, Chaminade proved to be a game opponent, holding the Argos to even at 0-0 at half, before falling 2-0.

The Chaminade defense was up to the challenge, with Michelle Halloran saving 16 shots, while the Lady Swords thwarted numerous NDNU attacks. The Argos sent waves of players at CUH playing 23 players, while Chaminade played 14.

Notre Dame was led by Kelli Brackinreed and Hope Siffert who each managed a goal a piece.

Chaminade falls to 0-6-1 on the year, 0-4-1 in conference, while Notre Dame de Namur improves to 7-6-2. The Lady Swords are back in action on Saturday when they head to Grand Canyon. Game time is set for 5:30 PM.
