Belmont, CA- Chaminade continued its sprint towards the finish with a convincing victory over the Argos of Notre Dame de Namur in three games 30-22, 30-16, and 30-21 on Friday night.
The Lady Swords were dominating all night, out-hitting and out-digging NDNU. Chaminade hit a red-hot .500 in the first game and .378 as a team for the match. CUH out dug Notre Dame de Namur 68-45 in the night and had 10 service aces.
Tamara Kauliakamoa had 40 assists to go along with 12 digs, and Marijana Stanic continues to get back into top form with her 8 kill, 17 dig performance. Brittnee Fonnesbeck led CUH with 10 kills; Evelyn Bluthenthal had 9 kills, while Vanja Radanovic added 8 kills to go along with 3 total blocks. All three hit .450 or above, with Bluthenthal leading the way, hitting for a.667 percentage.
Notre Dame de Namur was led by Jenifer McMurtry with 16 assists and Val Adams with 8 kills.
The Lady Swords improve to 15-4 on the year and 10-2 in the PacWest. Notre Dame de Namur falls to 10-20.
