Honolulu, HI- The Lady Swords put up a valiant effort in 1-0 loss to HPU this afternoon at Atherton Field.
The game was a defensive one, with Michelle Halloran coming up with big saves for the Swords and the game was tied at 0-0 at the break.
The game stayed that way with Halloran continuing to come up big and Alisan Altz getting the lone shot on goal for CUH. HPU managed 15 shots and finally broke the deadlock in the 84th minute with a score by Lauren Dingam off an assist by Jamie Hirai.
With the loss Chaminade falls to 0-9-1 overall and 0-6-1 in conference. HPU improves to 4-7 overall and 2-5 in conference play.
The Lady Swords are back at it tomorrow in a conference match at home versus Notre Dame de Namur. Match time is set for 11AM.
