Honolulu, HI- In a match with conference frontrunner Notre Dame de Namur, the Swords held tough and competed defensively in a 3-0 loss.
Chaminade was in the game and down 1-0 at the half due to some solid goalkeeping and timely stops defensively.
Notre Dame got on the board with a strike by Eric Michon right in front of the goal that slipped by keeper Kenny Hong for the goal.
The game stayed at 1-0 until the 57th minute, when a score by Dorian Virrueta made it 2-0. Virrueta added another score to reach the final tally.
Anton Del Rosario added two assists in the win while keeper Nico Arellano added two saves. CUH was out shot 35-2 on the match.
Chaminade falls to 0-14 overall and 0-8 in the conference, while NDNU improves to 11-5-2 with the win.
The Swords are back in action at St. Louis Field on Friday, October 27th versus Grand Canyon at 12 PM.
