Lady Swords Soccer Downed by NDNU 4-0

Honolulu, HI- In a midday game at beautiful St. Louis field, Chaminade was defeated by Notre Dame de Namur 4-0.

The Swords were led by goalkeeper Michelle Halloran and a stout defense early on, but trailed 2-0 at the break. The Swords offense was led by Carla Byers who managed two shots on goal.

Kelli Brackinreed led the Argos with two goals, while Amy Armijo had one goal and three assists in the win. Keeper Candice Schrodetzki had two saves overall.

It was a 2-0 lead for NDNU in the 87th minute when Lesley Welch tacked on a third goal, and less than two minutes later the Argos found the net again for the final score.

Chaminade falls to 0-10-1 and 0-7-1 in conference play. Notre Dame de Namur improves to 5-7 with the win.

CUH is back in action on Friday at 10 AM against Grand Canyon at St. Louis Field.
