Chaminade Women's Soccer Falls to HPU 1-0 In Tight Game

Honolulu, HI- In the final game of Chaminade University's Women's Soccer programs initial season, the Lady Swords came up just short in a 1-0 battle with Hawaii Pacific.

The stats indicate the back and forth play in the game with HPU winning the shot total 14-13, and goalie saves was 8-7 in CUH's favor.

The Swords offense was led by Carla Byers, Natasha Flores and Kuulei Agbayani who each had three shots on the afternoon. Michelle Halloran again led the defense with 8 saves in goal.

The lone goal came in the 74th minute off the foot of Cianna Chn-Ming. Kerianne Pascua was credited with the assist. The game was a physical one, with two yellow cards issued to both sides.

Chaminade lost to HPU in the second game of its inaugural season by a score of 5-0. The past two contests, both in the past week, have finished in 1-0 HPU wins, with both scores coming very late in the action.
