Swords Take Two From Seasiders

Laie, HI- Playing in their first games in six days, Chaminade took care of conference rival BYU-Hawaii twice, winning 4-3 and 7-3 on the road at BYU-Hawaii.

Game one saw Marissa Tybor slow the Seasider offensive attack, while the Swords provided just enough offense to get the win. Brandi Sasaki's two run homerun tied the game in the sixth inning and Michelle Jara's solo homer in the seventh proved to be the difference in the 4-3 CUH win.

In game two the Silversword bats really woke up to the tune of 10 hits ,including a Carolyn Fisher homerun, in the 7-3 win to seal up the sweep. Annaliese Moergeli took the win for Chaminade as the Swords inprove to 10-22 on the year.

Chaminade returns to action on Wednesday to face Azusa Pacific in a doubleheader at CORP. First pitch is set for 4:30PM.
