Tamara Kauliakamoa's 44 assists set up three Swords with double figures in kills, as Trina Kauliakomoa tallied 16, Evelyn Bluthenthal had 15 and Brittnee Fonnesbeck added 10. Tamara also had a team leading 13 defensive digs in Friday morning's defeat. Trina Kauliakamoa added 11 digs and Chaminade outdug the Falcons 57-51. Vanja Radanovic again led the Lasy Swords in blocks with 4 total.
The teams split the first two games by indentical scores of 30-21, while the pivotal third game finished at 31-29 in SPU's favor.
Seattle Pacific's Jenna Von Moos dished out 48 set assists. Alyssa Given lead the Falcons with 21 kills. Defensively, Tiffany Butac had 16 digs while the team compiled 18 block assists on the road to victory Friday morning.
Both teams are now 1-1 on the year.
The Lady Swords are back in action Friday evening, taking on the Mustangs of Western New Mexico at 5 p.m.
