Chaminade Goes Down In Three at BYU-Hawaii

Laie, HI- In an early match-up of potential front runners in the Pac West conference, the Seasiders of BYU-Hawaii defeated the Lady Swords of Chaminade in three games.

The Swords were led by sensational sophomore, Trina Kauliakamoa, who had another double-double with 15 kills and 10 digs on the evening. Tamara Kauliakamoa had 24 sets, while Evelyn Bluthenthal added 9 kills in defeat.

CUH was outhit .238 to .090 and outdug 54-39. BYU-Hawaii also had 15 total blocks to Chaminade's 5. Michelle Peters led the Seasiders with 24 kills and LeeAnn Mapu added 45 assists in the win. BYU-Hawaii remains undefeated while Chaminade falls to 6-3 on the year. Next up for Chaminade is HPU on Friday, September 15th at 7:30 PM at McCabe Gym.
