Fairbanks, AK- In the first game of the Auto Service Company Nanook Classic, the Lady Swords came out and set the tone with a 3-0 win against Alderson Broaddus.
The Swords dominated game one with a .393 team hitting percentage and won game one, 30-13. After a 30-19 win in game two, game three was a hitting display, with CUH hitting an outstanding .593 for the game, winning going away 30-7.
Trina Kauliakamoa again led the Lady Swords with 12 kills (.462 hittng %) to go along with 9 digs. Evelyn Bluthenthal had a double-double with 11 kills to go along with 13 digs. Tamara Kauliakamoa led the offense with 37 assists, while Ashley Elliazar dug 12 balls defensively.
Jamie Decorte led Alderson Broaddus with 12 assists and Megan Henry added 15 digs.
Chaminade improves to 3-2 on the year, while the Battlers fall to 1-1.
