Swords Women's Soccer Team Falls to the Seasiders

Honolulu, HI- In a matchup of Pac West conference foes, Chaminade lost to BYU-Hawaii by a score of 9-0. The game was tight early, with neither team notching a goal in the first eightteen minutes of action.

As Chaminade kept the game tight early, the Seasiders bench helped to wear down the Swords as CUH fell down 5-0 at the break.

The Seasiders were led by Emily Mearns with five shots, two goals and two assists. Jill Haar almost matched her numbers with six shots, two goals and two assists.,

For the Swords, Carla Byers had three shots while goal keeper Michelle Halloran made seven saves.

The Swords have a rematch with the Seasiders tomorrow, Saturday, September 30th in Laie, HI at 11:00AM. Chaminade is currently 0-3 on they year, while BYU-Hawaii improves to 4-1 overall. It was the first conference game for both teams.
