Seasiders Knock off Swords Men's Soccer Team 4-0

Honolulu, HI- BYU-Hawaii defeated Chaminade by a score of 4-0 today at St. Louis Field. Darren Smith was againn tough in goal as the Swords continue to look for their first conference win.

BYU-Hawaii was led by Joshua Barney who had five of the thirty shots taken by the Seasiders. Barney connected on one of those shots in the first period to put the half time score at 2-0 in favor of the Seasiders.

Darren Smith was again strong in goal and held off 10 Seasider shots on goal for the Silverswords. Chaminade warmed up in the second half putting three shots at BYU-Hawaii and forcing a save from Javier Vaca.

With the loss, Chaminade falls to 0-6 on the year. The Seasiders improved to 2-2 overall. It was the first conference game for both teams.

The temas will meet again Saturday, September 30, 2:00PM in Laie, HI.
