Honolulu, HI- The Silverswords took on University of Alaska Anchorage for the third time in this young season. The Seawolves were too much, defeating Chaminade 105 to 46.
The Silverswords were led by Marian Murphy who scored 17 points. Murphy was 4 for 9 from three point range. Katherine Carlisle scored 9 points for CUH in defeat.. Simrin Cummins contributed 8 points for Chaminade. Chaminade as a team shot well from the three point line making 50% of their shots, they made 8 of the 16 shots they took.
Chaminade was out rebounded 22 to Alaska Anchorage's 54.
University of Alaska Anchorage was led by Ruby Williams who had 30 points and 7 boards; she also went 8 for 9 from the free throw line. Maria Nillsson scored 14 points for the Seawolves.
With the loss the Silverswords fall to 0-6 overall and University of Alaska Anchorage improves to 10-0. Chaminade takes on University of Nebraska- Omaha on December 31st, game time is set for 3:30PM HST
