Final Stats
Anchorage, AK- You can't say the Silverswords dodge anyone. Playing the #5 ranked Seawolves of UAA for the second time within a week, Chaminade fell 92-43.
The Seawolves swarmed Chaminade defensively, holding CUH to 26% shooting for the game. The Swords were unable to get untracked offensively from the arc, shooting 26% from three as well. Simrin Cummins led with 11 points on 3-6 shooting from the floor, while sophomore point guard Samantha Saito added 6 assists in defeat.
Chaminade was out-rebounded by the bigger Seawolves 56 to 23.
Alaska-Anchorage was led by Kalhie Quinones who had 13 points to go along with 8 assists and 5 rebounds.
With the loss, Chaminade falls to 0-3. UAA moves to 7-0 with the win.
Next up for the Swords is Alaska Fairbanks in McCabe Gym. Game time is set for 1pm on December 10th.
