Honolulu, HI- Almost a two game sweep. Game one went 10 innings and ended after the international tie breaker rule was put into place. Chaminade dropped the extra inning contest 4-3 in the 10th inning. In game two, the Swords gave up one run in the top of the first, but countered in the bottom of the inning with 5 runs of their own. Chaminade continued to score and finished the night with a convincing victory by the score of 8-2.
Carolyn Fisher had 3 hits in 4 at bats as well as pitched the complete game, racking up over 150 pitches in game one. In game two, Fisher continued to lead the Swords, going 2 for 3, including a solo home run.
Amy Paulson and Nicole Giulani had 3 hits each on the night for the Argos.
The Silverswords are back in action on March 8th, against Grand Canyon University at Central Oahu Regional Park for a double header. First pitch is at 4:30 pm.
