Honolulu, HI- Chaminade is clearly improved from a year ago. This time, unfortunately, the scoreboard didn't show it. Erik Lekstrom scored in the 27th minute for the Bulldogs of Bryant University to break a 0-0 tie going into half time.
Ryan Aspinall and Sean Kaukas added a goal apiece in the second half to make for the final score of 3-0. Chaminade had a goal negated from TJ Meyer due to an offside call. Darren Smith made 11 saves in defeat for the Swords.
With the loss, Chaminade falls to 0-1, while Bryant improves to 2-0 on the year.
The Silverswords are back in action on August 30th against Embry Riddle (AZ). Game time is set for noon.
