Swords Women's Volleyball Spiked By Seasiders

Laie, HI- It's always tough to win on the road. Last night was no different as Chaminade fell to BYU-Hawaii 3-0 in Pac West Conference action 30-25, 30-14, 30-23.

The Lady Swords were led by Vanja Radanovic with 9 kills and 6 blocks. Trina Kauliakamoa added 8 kills and Tanya Alvino had 13 digs on the evening.

CUH struggled to get its offense in any rhythm hitting .023 for the match, while BYU-H managed to have an attack percentage of .179.

The Seasiders were led by LeeAnn Mapu with 41 assists and Noelle Filimoeatu with 14 kills and 19 digs.

With the loss, the Lady Swords fall to 8-2, 1-1 in the Pac West. The Seasiders move to 5-5, 1-1 in conference play.

Up next for the Swords: UH-Hilo on Friday, September 28th in McCabe Gym. First serve is 7:30 PM.
