Chaminade Cross Country Competes in the Hawaiian Airlines Pac West Championships

Men 6th, Women 7th

Chaminade men in earlier action

Laie, HI- Garrett Prinslow (32nd) led the Chaminade men this morning, finishing with a 28:46 in the 8K Hawaiian Airlines Pac West Championships.

 

On the women's side, CUH was led by Rachel Martin (30th) with a time of 22:45 in the women's 5K.

 

The meet involved all Pac West schools.   BYU-Hawaii won the team event on the women's side, Hawaii Pacific on the men's.  Amanda Whitford of BYU-Hawaii won the individual title in the 5k with a time of 18:22.  Dany Malley of Hawaii Pacific was the leading runner from a championship eligible team with a time of 26:07 in the 8k event. 

 

The Swords are back in action on November 8th at the NCAA Division II West Regionals.
