Phoenix, AZ- It was a tough one this morning for the Swords. Coming off yesterday's win over Academy of Art, Chaminade ran into a tough opponent today in the Antelopes of Grand Canyon University.
Coach Mosley was not happy with the performance. “I was disappointed with our play. It was undisciplined and unmotivated. Our #2 and #3 doubles played well, but it wasn't enough.”
Senior Audra Takara won in #2 singles, while the #2 doubles and #3 doubles won as well. The #3 doubles team of sophomores Silkie Kawahakui and Kianna Iwado won going away, by a score of 8:1
With the loss, CUH moves to 1-2. Grand Canyon moves to 3-1. The Swords are back in action tomorrow to face Dixie State at 12:30 PM MT in Phoenix, AZ.
