Biography
2009-10: Started 24 of 25 games for the Swords and led Chaminade in minutes played, averaging nearly 34 per contest. Led CUH in rebounding, corralling 7.7 a game, while chipping in 9 ppg. At 6’3, Pearson led Chaminade in rebounding on twelve different occasions, including 14 against UH Hilo on January 23rd.
Eastern Utah Junior College: Competed for the Golden Eagles in 2005-06 and 2008-09. Pearson averaged 7 points and 5.2 rebounds this past season for Coach Craig. Finished the year an impressive 25-7, losing to eventual NJCAA National Champion Salt Lake CC in the Scenic West Championship. Was named Defensive Player of the Year. In 2005-06, played for Coach Zollinger at Eastern Utah. Finished the season with a record of 22-9.
High School: Was a three sport athlete (basketball, baseball, golf) at Emery High in Castle Dale, UT. Named Academic All State in all three sports. Was selected as a 1st Team All State selection as a senior, 2nd team All State as a junior in the sport of basketball. Was a 2nd Team All State selection in baseball in both junior and senior seasons.
Personal: The son of Dennis and Kaylene Pearson, Chandler was born in Price, UT. He has one sibling, Meagan. Chandler is married to the Lieren (Grow) Pearson.
