2013: Participated in all six team races and ended career at the NCAA West Regional in Spokane, Wash. ... was the Silverswords' second-place finisher in each race ... finished the UH-Hilo Invitational in 17:27, coming in 12th overall, both season-bests (Oct. 12) ... finished the BYUH Invitational in 28:29, his best time in 8K races ... at the PacWest Championship, finished the 8K race in 29:49 (Nov. 2) ... completed the NCAA West Regional in a time of 36:49 (Nov. 9).
High School: A cross-country and track & field standout for the Bulldogs of Highland high school. Competed for 4 years. Captain of the men’s varsity cross country team his junior and senior years of high school and scholar-athlete for all four years. Also placed 67th of 22450 total finishers and 1st of 1408 males ages 17 & under in the Honda LA Marathon.
Personal: The son of Jose Luis Jimenez and Francisca Jimenez, Emmanuel Jimenez was born in Panorama City, California. One of eleven siblings, Emmanuel Jimenez has four brothers and seven sisters. Hobbies include: Running, working out, drawing and playing the guitar.
