Biography
2007: Quietly becoming one of the best to play for Chaminade. Put together another stellar season for CUH while being the primary focus of opponents. Named First Team All Pac West for the second year in a row. Led the team in kills, service aces and was second in digs. Averaged 3.67 kills and 2.87 digs per game. Ed the team in points per game at 4.34.
2006: Trina enjoyed a standout sophomore season attacking opponents off the familiar set of her older sister Tamara Kauliakamoa. Trina was named 1st All Pac West in 2006, averaging 4.23 kills per game despite being targeted all year as Chaminade's top attacker. Kauliakamoa is also a standout defensively, finishing second on the team in digs with 2.99 per game, for a total of 224.
2005: Kauliakamoa enjoyed a fantastic freshman season. Trina led Chaminade in kills and kills per game with 351 on the season, to go along with 4.50 per game. Kauliakamoa also was first in service aces with 41 as well as second on the Swords in digs with 2.64 per game.
Trina was steady all year for CUH recording 20 kills on September 7th versus Seattle U. and adding a season high 28 kills versus BYU-Hawaii on October 27th. She also added 6 service aces in a win versus new conference member Notre Dame de Namur.
High School: Trina had an outstanding year at Palo Verde High when she was named the Gatorade Nevada Women's Volleyball Player of the Year as a senior. She had 439 kills, 218 assists and 168 service aces on the year. Led by her efforts, Palo Verde High advanced to the state semifinals before bowing out. A Fab 50 player, she was the Sunset Northwest Division Player of the Year and was named the Nevada All Sport Volleyball Player of the Year amongst many honors.
