Jaeda Cabunoc got the nod as the softball team’s Opening Day starter and, in just her second career start, tossed a one-hit gem against Corban University, allowing just two runs in picking up her first career win. She struck out two and helped her own cause by driving in one of the six runs in the eighth inning to allow the ’Swords to earn the mercy-rule victory.
