As the new Athletic Director at Chaminade University, I would like to say thank you for your support of the Silversword community. As a friend of Chaminade Athletics, you have enabled us to elevate the overall experience for our student-athletes.
In an effort to continue moving us forward, we initiated The Silversword Fund to strategically support athletics’ highest priorities. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to restructure our athletic program to safely and effectively allow our student-athletes to train and compete. With wellness as our highest priority, this has presented financial challenges to our athletic department as we face new short-term costs such as COVID-19 testing and supplies to keep our Silversword ‘ohana healthy. A gift to The Silversword Fund goes directly to our student-athletes, to provide these resources and opportunities, like financial aid.
