Cheyne Obara played a pivotal role during the softball team’s 6-0 record from March 7-13, but none was bigger than the March 13 doubleheader against Holy Names. She drove in two runs and had a hand in three of the ’Swords’ record four double plays turned in Game 1. In the nightcap, Obara delivered a two-run single which put them up 6-5 in the fifth inning which erased a five-run deficit in their 9-5 win which is tied for the largest comeback win in program history.
