Zoe McDonough captured women’s medalist honors at the team’s own Chaminade Invitational on Sept. 17, finishing the 5-kilometer race at Patsy T. Mink Central O‘ahu Regional Park in 20 minutes, 13.8 seconds. She became the first Silversword women’s runner with a first-place finish in a 5-kilometer or longer event in 31 years and the first overall medalist since 2012.
