Kyla Takazono helped the women’s soccer team limit Hawai‘i Pacific and Hawai‘i Hilo to just three combined goals, respectively. As a key member of the team’s defensive line, Takazono helped hold HPU to nine shots on Sept. 20. Then on Sept. 23 at nationally-ranked UH Hilo, they held the Vulcans to 12 shots, tied for their fewest of the season.
