Joaquin Maud scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the Silverswords' 3-2 win over Academy of Art on Sept. 28. The sophomore headed in a corner kick in the 76th minute to give the ’Swords a 3-1 lead at the time. Maud’s first goal of the season, which was the second of his career, helped the ’Swords win their first match of the season.
