Larchelle Tuifao hit .818 (9-for-11) with two home runs, seven RBI and four runs in the softball team’s series against Texas Permian Basin and Western Oregon. In the two-game series against UTPB, the junior was 5-for-8 with five RBI and her second-inning homer in Game 1 was the first to leave the yard in the brief history of Silversword Field, a blast estimated to have traveled 250 feet. Tuifao was 4-for-4 against WOU with two RBI, two runs and another homer while walking four times.
