Berylin Lau had a competitive stretch of singles matches in Southern California and at Hawai‘i Hilo during the week of March 25-31. In her match at No. 44 Concordia University Irvine, Lau took two points in No. 1 singles off her opponent, Sophie Rachor, ranked 57th nationally in Division II. She followed that performance by forcing a first-set tiebreaker before dropping the set, 7-6 (7-2), against UH Hilo’s McKenna Mountain in her final match of the season.
