Grace Talpash made her first start at setter since her freshman season at Oklahoma in 2020 during the Hawai‘i-Alaska Challenge, helping the 12th-ranked Silverswords win their 2024 openers.
 
Talpash totaled 46 assists and 18 digs over the weekend, also adding three kills. She logged a double-double (21 assists, 10 digs) against Alaska Anchorage in the afternoon match, then had 25 assists and eight digs later that evening against Alaska.
