In the series-ending win at Vanguard on April 13, he tossed 1 2/3 perfect frames for his first save, completing a stretch where retired all 12 batters he faced as a reliever on the recent road trip. On April 18 at Biola, the junior got his first start, going six innings in picking up the win.
