Swords Sweep Seasiders

Honolulu, HI - The Chaminade University women's volleyball team swept past BYU-Hawaii 3-0 (30-27, 30-28, 30-27) last night at McCabe Gymnasium. The Swords, 7-1 in league play, remain locked in a tie for first place in the Pacific West conference with Hawaii Pacific.

Kahala Kabalis led Chaminade with 17 kills, followed by Marijana Stanic and Patti Hardimon who tallied 10 kills apiece. Nikolina Rastovac dished out 34 assists on the night and Kalae Araujo led the Swords with 13 digs.

Noelle Filimoeayu led the Seasiders with 18 kills, followed by Yu Chuan Weng's 14 and Lilly Tufuga's 11 kills.

Chaminade heads to Montana State-Billings and Western New Mexico for four games next week. The first meeting at each school counts toward PacWest standings while the second game is counted as a non-conference match.

The Swords return home to face Hawaii Pacific on November 6th at 7:30 PM.
