Swords Fall on Senior Night

Honolulu, HI - The Chaminade University men's basketball team saw six seniors play their final game at McCabe Gym tonight, in an 88-71 loss to BYU-Hawaii. The Swords fall to 9-14 while the Seasiders improve to 21-5 on the season.

The Seasiders shot 58 percent from the field while holding Chaminade to just 37 percent. The Seasiders, who have already clinched the PacWest title and automatic NCAA Tournament berth, are now playing to maintain their No. 2 regional ranking in order to draw the second seed at the NCAA West Regional. Three Swords scored in double figures. Kashif Reyes tallied 17 points while Jason Walters and Roy Stigall III each added 12.

Chaminade travels to Hawaii Pacific on Wednesday night before heading to Hawaii-Hilo for their final game of the 2003-04 season on Saturday. Both games are set for 7:30 PM.
