Honolulu, HI- Monday night was just what the doctor ordered as the Lady Swords handled Ursuline College (OH) in three straight games.
The Swords hit .279 for the match and were led by Trina Kauliakamoa's 14 kills along with 10 digs. Nikolina Rastovac added 35 assists along with 5 kills. All three games were won without a great challenge from the Arrows, as they begin a three game road trip on Oahu. Five Lady Swords had five or more kills on the match as the ball was moved around well throughout the match. Lila Sapolu had six kills on just eight attempts for the evening.
Ursuline was led by Katie Canel and her 7 kills. Brandy Weglewski and Christina Piriano both added 9 digs in defeat. The win brings Chaminade back to .500 at 9-9, while the Arrows fall to 9-11 on the season.
The Swords now have ten days between matches, when they will face Lee University on Thursday, October 20th at 7:30 PM in McCabe Gym.
