Chaminade Finishes Off Cal-Baptist Early

Honolulu, HI- Chaminade University was home for the first time this year and Cal-Baptist was the unfortunate opponent.

In a game that wasn't close for long, CUH led 49-24 at the break and won going away 87-68. The Swords had it going from long range and finished with twelve triples on the night. Chris Reaves started off hot and finished the first half with 15 points and had 21 on the night. Corey Campbell provided a great spark off the bench and finished with 16 points on the night.

Cal-Baptist could not stop the Swords in transition and found themselves in a large hole early and were down 29-11 less than ten minutes in. Chris Nelson had 13 points off the bench, while Dylan McCune and Zack Whiting added 12 a piece in the win.

With the win, Chaminade improves to 3-4, while Cal Baptist falls to 3-4 on the year. The Swords return to action on December 16th with a game against PacWest Rival BYU-Hawaii. Tip-off is set for 7:30 pm.
